JULY 2015
I travel to Philadelphia to attend the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People conference as an exhibitor. Making connections with the NAACP members in preparation for CHILDREN OF THE CIVIL RIGHTS documentary film's national release at year end is my number one goal. The location for the booth is great; you can see it clear across the hall!

After setting the booth up, I have enough time to walked to the Philadelphia Museum of Art to check out the Impressionist exhibition. This museum didn't allow taking photos inside, but I took plenty of photos of Philadelphia architecture during my walk - what a delight! And yes, those steps up to the museum are the same from the movie 'Rocky". There is even a statue of Rocky outside for the tourist. The day ends with a fantastic mexican dinner at a place called El Vez - highly recommended if you're ever in Philly!!!
